Helping organisations build practical compliance programmes

Welcome, and thank you for being here.
I am Lorraine, and this is a proper introduction to something I have been building, with quiet dedication over a short space of time: Roseline Data Privacy (RDP).
RDP is a data privacy consultancy built on a simple belief: good data protection should not feel like a burden bolted onto a business. Done well, it is a source of trust, resilience, and genuinely better ways of working. I know how difficult it can be to achieve an exceptional privacy programme when a team is under resourced or stretched thin, and too often it is treated as a box-ticking exercise or handled reactively. Whilst I also know, as a volunteer and school governor, that there is not always the need or the finances for a full-time DPO, support and expertise for a few days a month would be sufficient to meet compliance. That is why I started RDP.
My grounding in this field comes from years working in senior privacy roles inside fast-moving, high-profile organisations, including a well known retailer, a global telecom, an ad tech business managing large volumes of data, and most recently as Data Protection Officer in professional sport. These are environments where the stakes are real, the pace is relentless, and there is no room for privacy advice that only works in theory. That experience taught me how to translate complex regulation into decisions people can act on, and how to build data protection practices that hold up under real pressure, not only on paper.
RDP covers a range of services, but whatever the service, and whatever the size or type of organisation, one thing stays the same: the quality of thinking and results I bring. Whether that is a data protection audit, hands-on DPO support, policy and governance work, staff training, or ongoing advisory, my approach does not change. What does change is how it is applied, tailored to how your organisation actually operates, so support is never generic, only ever consistent in its quality.

Practical legal and business insight on data privacy will be finding its way to this page, the kind I hope you will genuinely find useful, alongside a little more on why I started RDP and what has shaped the way I work. That is coming soon, so I do hope you will keep an eye out.
Thank you for reading this far. If it would be helpful, I would be glad for you to follow along or subscribe, so you do not miss what comes next.
Many thanks,
